Hello Paula! Suki is doing much better with the house training.

We hung a bell from the door and when ever we bring her out

we tap the bell with her paw. Now she hits the bell and turns around looking for us

and waiting for us to come. She is doing great! We have her appointment at the vet next Tuesday

and we are going tonight for puppy training orientation. She knows sit very well,

I'm working on down and stay but she seems to be having a much harder time with it.

I have included a picture of her from early last week.

As you can see her ears are standing up. We absolutely love her and everyone that meets her likes her too.

Thank you so much. Josh

The family below adopted Bandit at 1 years old, he is fitting in well with his new family!

This is what they have to say:

Hi Paula,
We are thoroughly enjoying Bandit!  My kids got up at 6:00 this morning
(committing to a routine) to play with Bandit in the yard before school.  We
make him sit and then free him before each ball toss to teach him some
structure to play time.  He is extremely intelligent and playful which are 2
great qualities in a family dog.  He is going to bring a lot of joy to our
family.  Below is a link to Mike Kelly's K9 training I mentioned on the
phone yesterday.  He is not your run of the mill puppy trainer that you get
through pet stores.  He's top notch with the experience and results to prove
it.  Hopefully tonight we'll down load some pictures of bandit and send an
update to your site.
Best Regards,
David

This is an update on "Bandit" that has gone to live with David and his
active family in Norwell Ma., he is luv'n life!

Hi Paula,
Just wanted to send you some updated pictures of Bandit.  We're having a
blast with him; he fits well in our active family lifestyle.  He actually
inspires us to be more active. We take him to the beach or the the park at
times when normally we wouldn't go out. It is fun to play with him and show
him off to other people who always comment on what a beautiful dog he is.  I
had always dreamed of having a German Shepherd ever since I was kid and the
experience of owning such a magnificent dog as Bandit doesn't disappoint.
Best Regards,
             David L

Below "Bandit" Update:

Hi Paula,
Here's a picture of Bandit surrounded by his buddies at Mike Kelly's
training class.  He's a great dog we we are really enjoying him.  Do you
still have any German Shepherd puppies with you.  I was wondering if we
could come and meet you and bring Bandit by for a visit and see some
puppies.  Being that we got him at 1 year of age my kids missed out on the
puppy experience.
Best Regards,

David

Hi Paula,
Just wanted to let you know that we are so happy to have Sophie. She has adjusted well to her new home. As she gets a little bigger I will send pictures. She is so sweet. She gets quite the attention on her little walks, at the bus stop, and when she went to the vet. I look forward to teaching her more, I can already tell she is very smart. Honestly, the best dogs I ever had were shepherds, (it's been a long time) I am so happy to have another. Thanks again!

"Sophie" Update!!!!

Here's what Jody has to say:

Hi Paula,
Just wanted to send a few pics of Sophie, one at the beach @ 3mos. and the other 2 are @ 4mos.  She is such a good pup and so smart. It took about 2 weeks to housebreak her (doesn't even have to be crated at night) and she catches on pretty quick in her puppy pre-K class. She loves her walks and I can not tell you how many compliments she gets. She is well known around the neighborhood and we have caused some trouble. All the kids around here are asking their parents for a German Shepherd. I will send more pics when she gets a little older. She is a beautiful dog all around!

Thank you,
Jody

She just turned 1 (12/23) and she is so well behaved. She is so good with the kids and just loves meeting new people. I can honestly say she is the perfect dog. What a schedule/routine she has! I am so pleased with her, people ask all the time where we got her. Hope all is well, and you have a wonderful New Year!

Hi Paula, Just had to tell you how smart your puppies are. Tanka has figured out how to open a door! He just bites onto the knob and turns. He must have learned this by watching us. He is incredible. Donna

This is "Brewer"!!!

Hi Paula,
I can't tell you how thrilled we are to have Brewer of Xander/Bonnie as a part of our family. He is a joy with a great attitude. I can't take him for a walk anywhere without getting stopped with comments like "what a gorgeous shepherd" "what a sweet dog" "he's only 10 months?? Look at those paws!"
We picked him up this past Valentine's Day and I think at 10 months he might be about 100lbs. and not done growing. Even at this size most people are able to tell he is still a puppy. He has no idea how big he is, but with kids 2, 6 and 8, it is obvious to us when you see him stretched out next to one on them. He absolutely loves the kids and watches them like a hawk.
We have regularly trained him with Brandon at Cathy's. He is very quick to learn new things and does very well in class. He passed the CGC at 8 months with flying colors.

Thanks,

 Paul

Below is a solid black girl named "Bella",

she lives with Echo who is a Dana/Onyx boy!

1/5/10
Hi Paula,
Here are a few pictures of Bella and Echo. I know we have only had her for a few days, but we are already so attached to her. Echo was a little "crazy" at first, but he loves to play with her especially in the snow. He is constantly stealing her toys, and then she tries to steal them back. She is crated at night and only cries for about 10 minutes then she's fine. She is signed up for puppy classes at the end of January. More to follow as she gets bigger! Thanks for all your patience while we were choosing a new puppy.

Update on Bella with big brother Echo (Dana/Onyx pup)

Hi Paula,
Here are some more pictures of Bella and Echo.  We think they are the greatest dogs ever! They are so loveable and adore each other.  They play with Miley(Theo/Tessie) pup on the weekends and love to play with other dogs in play group. Bella weighs 72 lbs and Echo is 100 lbs. Walking them together is a feat in itself but they are getting better everyday. I hope to see these new pictures on the website. I look forward to seeing pictures of the up coming litter.

Gunny from Marshfield Ma.

A letter written on 2-13-2010

Dear Paula,

Tomorrow the 14th is my one year anniversary with the best dog I've ever owned. I'm not sure if you remember me, I came up last year on the 14th with my sister, nephew, and friend.
I picked a black male, and named him Gunny.  He is so unbelievable, he amazes me daily. He loves to run, swim, and train.  I live on the coast so we are in the dunes or on the beach twice a day, no matter what the weather is.

This dog is a machine, yet he is great with all my nieces & nephews and everybody he meets daily on the beach.  His protective and security instincts are superb. He is just a great well-rounded dog.

He also has a german Shepherd girlfriend in Maine (My fathers dog) they have 125 acres to run and play, he's living a great life.

I wanted to write and thank you, I've told tons of people about you.

I heard about you through John M.. of Marshfield, he has two females Ava & Ruxi.  I see him on the beach and Gunny loves them both, they have a lot of fun together.

I also met a younger guy a firefighter from Marshfield/sitcuate on the beach, who had a black male puppy he got from you.  I was thinking of breeding Gunny when he turns two next December, provided the hip x-rays are good.

Thank you, I love this dog, he is awesome (A lot of work and stubborn sometimes) but it's fun and keeps me healthy too!

  Thanks, Tim
